Fresh from her successful campaign as Philippines representative to the Miss Business Global beauty pageant in Vietnam, Princess Mariel Baltazar had her homecoming victory press conference last April 3 at Corte Ibiza Bar and Restaurant in Tomas Morato, Quezon City.




Members of the pageant media and selected bloggers attended the special occasion hosted by Mother of All Pageant Mr. Ovette Ricalde of MegaStar Productions. Aside from placing third over-all in the competition, 19 year old Mariel was also voted as the most friendly by her fellow candidates. At her victory presscon, she said that she is very happy and contented with her performance during the entire competition and thankful to her team lead by Ms. Annie Ong for all the support accorded to her from training, preparation up to the penultimate night of the pageant. Inspite of her age (the youngest among the ladies), she was able to pull it through and ends up in the winner's circle. 




She said that she is looking forward for more opportunity in the world of pageantry. Soon, she will be competing for her first national beauty pageant, Miss Aura Philippines and hopefully she can represent her country again in international stage. Given a chance, Mariel also wants to be part of the showbizlandia, in fact one of these days she is scheduled to visit Viva Films office for a possible movie project.
