Even prior, last April 27 and 28, 2022, Belmont Hotel Manila served as host to the ladies’ personality development training workshop. On May 10, profile shots of the candidates will be taken at the Eastwood Richmonde Hotel through the able direction of some of the country’s celebrated beauty pageant photographers.
Getting everyone excited is the Beach Beauty segment on May 15-18, a fast-track program designed to secure a lucky candidate’s spot in the finals during the coronation night. This year, with the joys of travel returning at a healthy pace, Savoy Hotel and Belmont Hotel Boracay, located at the Boracay Newcoast, will serve as official venue and the residence of the said challenge while in the beautiful island of Boracay. Giving the pageant contenders another chance to excel is the Head-to-Head Challenge, which aims to get to know the delegates and their thoughts or views on certain world issues and concerns. Round One (1) will happen on May 20 at the Savoy Hotel Manila then will advance to Round Two (2) on May 23, happening nowhere else but the Twin Lakes Hotel near Tagaytay. A talent competition will also be staged to showcase each participant’s innate skills which will take place on May 24, 2022 at the Hotel Lucky Chinatown in Binondo. While there, the pageant organization will also conduct the screening for the Beauty with A Purpose (BWAP) Challenge.
This year’s official residence of all candidates, starting June 1 until coronation night on June 5, 2022, will be the Kingsford Hotel Manila! Joe Fijardo, General Manager of the hotel exudes with much excitement saying, “We can’t wait to be hosting our future Queens all vying to represent the Philippines”. With the brand-new hotel, he further ads, “There’s so much our team can offer along with a heart of service that will make each of the girls ready for the challenges ahead.”

Megaworld Hotels and Resorts will also extend a special award during the coronation night. Albiso hints that “We are looking for a winner who shows confidence in her sound beliefs plus should be an advocate of learning gained through travel while showing respect for people, culture and the arts”.
Over-all, this year’s search for the next Miss World Philippines official representative and other crowns will be anticipated with much more excitement due to the country’s more relaxed pandemic-related alert levels as compared to prior years.
