The Mrs Universe Philippines Foundation has announced that the Mrs Universe Philippines 2020 National Competition is being delayed to next year due to the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic.
As a result of this postponement, the 2019 Mrs Universe Philippines title holder will extend her reign until next year. The current Mrs Universe Philippines 2019 titleholder is Maria Charo Calalo.
However, the Mrs Universe International Pageant under Mrs Universe Limited will push through with its International Pageant. This is the very first time in 43 years of history that we will be voting for our candidates online starting December 1, 2020 all the way to December 24, 2020. On January 1st of 2021, we will announce the new queen and will start the year with the new Mrs Universe 2020.
The Mrs Universe Philippines Foundation will be sending 4 delegates to represent the Philippines showcasing their respective cities to compete in Mrs. Universe International Pageant . We have picked 4 candidates through a rigorous ,careful screening among many applicants nationwide to represent our country. The 4 deserving candidates are Mrs. San Juan , Mrs. Makati , Mrs. Quezon City and Mrs. Laguna.
The Mrs.Universe Philippines Foundation will allow the representing candidates to compete next year for the National competition for the title of Mrs Universe Philippines 2021.
