Ms. Mrs. Grand Universe 2019 Launched

Makati City - Guinto Entertainment Production launches the first ever Ms. and Mrs Grand Universe, an international beauty pageant with a cause. In a press conference at Unlicity, Century City Mall. The event was led by pageant founders, beauty queens and mother-daughter tandem of Mrs. Universe Philippines 2016 Jenny Guinto and World Supermodel Philippines 2017 Angela Janine Torres; and Bb Pilipinas International 1994 Alma Concepcion who is the official representative of the Philippines to the competition.

Ms. and Mrs Grand Universe hopes to gather fort-five(45) lovely and strong-willed ladies from all over the world to participate in this one-of-a-kind pageant which will become a platform for women who do not only possess beauty, but most of all, the confidence and the caring heart staunchly advocating the welfare of women and children. The pageant has three categories in store namely Ms Grand Universe for women ages 25-45 years who are a single mos or divorced with or without children; Mrs Grand Universe for married women ages 25-45 years old, married with or without children; and Classic Grand Universe for women ages 46 years old and above, married or not married, widowed or divorced, with or without children. Pageant activities will run for one week beginning with the arrival of candidates in the Philippines on September 20, rehearsals and charity events in between, and coronation night on September 27.

Ms. Mrs. Grand Universe was conceived by the mother and daughter tandem of Jenny Guinto and Angela Janine Torres whose story of hope through overcoming a lofe's adversity became the foundation for the creation of this noble undertaking. according to Guinto, Angela had to battle with leukemia at a very young age of 3 and as a single mother, she both had to take care of her and work very hard to sustain all the medications and special attention needed by her daughter . believing that beauty pageants are effective platforms to promote advocacies and being former beauty pageant candidates themselves, she and her daughter decided to create Ms. and Mrs. grand Universe in the desire to provide a stage for women (Whose ages are beyond the standard age for beauty contest) were they can share their inspiring stories to uplift the morale of other woman who amy also be raising their children on their own, nurturing their own families or battling with life's crises such as loss of a spouse or aging. indeed, the tagline "Stellar beauty that sparks hoe" translates the very essence of the pageant.

Through the Ms. Mrs. Grand Universe pageant, the organizers aim to raise funds that will benefit some charitable institutions in teh Philippines specifically those that provide a home to abused or abandoned women and children
