FUTURE DOCTOR IS MISS PHILIPPINES EARTH CONTENDER
Twenty year-old future physician Georgette Nicole Restiviera Coronacion is one of the forty-four official candidates for the 2019 edition of Miss Philippines Earth beauty pageant. The 5’5” tall beauty is representing her hometown Carmona, Cavite.
A special courtesy call with the officials of Carmona was held last June 17 during the regular Monday flag ceremony at the ground of the municipal hall led by the newly elected Mayor of Carmona, Honorable Roy Loyola and Vice Mayor Cesar Ines, Jr.
George has 2 younger brothers. Her parents Tito and Rowena were both engaged in poultry and livestock business. She is no stranger in the world of pageantry. Way back in 2017 she was crowned Miss Philippines Diamond in a glittering ceremony held at the historic Manila Hotel. She was about to represent the country in an international competition in Montenegro but last minute decision that she decided to skip the pageant in favor of her study. She also joined Miss Manila last year where she finished among the top 15 semi-finalists. She is into Muay Thai and she loves reading books, make-up tutorial and blogging.
Miss Philippines Earth is celebrating the year of Flora and Fauna and Georgette is representing Statice, a home grown flower in her hometown with a long-lasting scents, colorful blooms and sturdy stems. It can be use as herbal medicine in the form of aromatheraphy.
Georgette would like to promote effective waste segregation as her advocacy. She is also supporting green buildings and infrastructure to further develop ecotourism in her province. Win or lose, she is expecting to gain experiences and new learning from the competition that will make her more mature, loving and God fearing person.
Miss Philippines Earth 2019 will culminates in a glittering coronation night on July 11 at the Cove, Okada Manila to be telecast on a delayed basis over Kapuso network, GMA 7.
