Fifteen year old half Filipina-half Brazilian from Cagayan De Oro City was crowned Miss Teen Philippines 2019 as the longest and most prestigious teen beauty pageant in the land made a successful comeback after five years of absence in the Philippine pageantry scene. The finale was held last Wednesday May 8 at the newly refurbished New Frontier Theater in Cubao, Quezon City.
Nikki De Moura bested thirty other young and vibrant candidates of this year search and took home the top plum of the competition. De Moura was very relaxed but with conviction when she answered the final question about the greatest challenge the youth is facing and how pageants like Ms. Teen Philippines can contribute to meet the challenge.
Her court are Patricia Lyn Beerda – first runner-up, Nicole Borromeo – second runner-up, Miki Angela Barcela – third runner-up and Joanna Kalkschmidt – fourth runner-up.
The three hour pageant was hosted by Kapamilya stars Matteo Guidicelli and Tippy Dos Santos. Panel of judges includes Miss International 2005 Precious Lara Quigaman, Raymond Isaac, Regine Angeles, Atty. Brian Hosaka, Atty. Aimee Torrefranca – Neri, Atty. Rico Quicho, Jinky Lee and Amir Sali.
The coronation is mastered to the fullest, presenting a 24 state of the art LED; a dj in consistent musical presentation and prominent artists and musicians also up for MTP--setting the bar very high in the history of Philippine pageantry.Entertainment numbers provided by the group band Four Spade and Teen actor Inigo Pascual
