Pinay Teen Won as Princess Universe 2015

Another Pinay Beauty brought home honor and pride for the Philippines by winning an international title recently. Patricia Angela Cruz, an eleven year-old student of Philippine Chen Kuang High School won the Princess Universe 2015 Title at the Pageant held at St. George Palace Resort and Spa in Bulgaria Eastern Europe.

Patrcia bested several delegates coming from Spain, Bulgaria, Greece, Brazil, Italy to name just a few and also won the Best in National Costume Special Award in a Filipiniana Terno Design by Mr. Chico Estiva of San Pablo City, Laguna. Patrcia also performed a Classical Violin Piece during the Talent Competition.

“I’m very happy that I won the title, I’m dedicating this victory for my family and friends and my co-candidates in the pageant, whom I already miss now. I really enjoyed my experience and got to meet new friends and hopefully, we continue our communications through social-media.”says Patrcia during an interview at the exclusive by-invitation only Victory Party cum Press Conference held last June 27 at the posh 5^thTaste Restaurant at P. Guevarra St. San Juan City.

Present at her Victory Party are her proud siblings and Patrcia’s loving parents Col. Gilbert Cruz, Director for Operations of the Southern Police District and Mrs. Jennifer Mindanao Cruz aka Ina Alegre who is the Philippine Official Representative to the forthcoming Mrs. Universe Pageant to be held in Minsk Belarus on August 30.

“As a mother, I’m doubly proud of the achievement of my daughter Patricia, she really works hard in reaching her goals of giving honor not just for our family but for our country. Her achievement also serves as an inspiration for me, when I also compete and represent the Philippines at the Mrs. Universe Pageant, I do also ask for your prayers and support through the online voting. The Princess Universe Pageant is an annual pageant represented by children from the five continents. This year’s pageant was held in Bulgaria, Eastern Europe featuring each candidate in their National Costume Gown, Sportswear and Talent Presentation. Winners are determined through their showcased talent, modeling skills and casual interview.

Miss Republic of the Philippines 2015 Pageant Screening Schedules

 Miss Republic of the Philippines Pageant, recently re-launched by Successful Entrepreneur, Philanthropist, Civic-Leader, and one of Society’s Best Dressed Lady, Miss Lynette Padolina, (the President and CEO of Miss RP) has announced its Second Wave of Pageant Screening scheduled on July 11 (Saturday) and July 20 (Monday), 2PM at the Fisher Mall, Quezon Avenue, Quezon City.

Applicants must be a Natural born Female, at least a High School Graduate, 18 to 25 years old, at least 5’ 4” in height, with good moral character and pleasant personality and at least with one grandparent in the direct maternal or paternal line possessing Filipino citizenship. Interested Ladies must also bring with them a two piece swimsuits, high heels, close-up and full body photo (in swimwear), a photocopy of their NSO Certified Birth Certificate, a photocopy of High School Diploma and a photocopy of any Valid Government ID.

Two major titles will be given away at the Grand Coronation Night in September at Solaire Resorts and Casino, they are Miss Republic of the Philippines 2015 and the Miss Republic of the Philippines International 2015 title, with three runner-up titles of equal importance namely Miss Luzon, Miss Visayas and Miss Mindanao.

The Two Grand winners will each receive a four year academic scholarship along with a substantial amount of cash and gift prizes from the pageant sponsors. Top Jeweler, Miss Mila Imson of Kitsilver Jewelry will conceptualize the Miss RP Crown and Sash.

The much-anticipated Miss Tabuk City Philippines 2015 has Officially Started with the selection of twenty lovely candidates representing various Barangays and Areas of the City during the Final Screening of Candidates held last Monday, June 8, 2015 at the elegant Grand Zion Garden Hotel in Bulanao, Tabuk City, Kalinga.

Reigning Miss Tourism Metropolitan International, Tabuk City, Kalinga’s Pride, Miss Glennifer Perido headed the screening panel and expresses her thanks and gratitude to all the local handlers and talent scout who works doubly hard in recruiting potential candidates in the newly re-organized city pageant. 

“This year marks another milestone in Tabuk City’s quest for Beauty, we are very optimistic and hopeful that we can discover a new batch of ladies who will represent our Beloved City in various Regional and National Pageants in the future. Thank you also to all the trust and efforts of our city local government led by Mayor Ferdinand B. Tubban and Vice-Mayor Darwin Estranero and the whole people of Tabuk City in making sure that this pageant and the whole Matagoan Festival of 2015 to be a successful one.” says Glennifer, in an exclusive interview of FAB Philippines Correspondent.

The twenty official candidates immediately buckled down to Day 01 of hectic pageant activities in a scenic video introduction shoot amidst the spectacular sights of the city. The Video Introduction will be shown live come Finals Night on June 23.

 A Welcome Luncheon at Davidsons Hotel and a Courtesy Visit at the Tabuk City Council Session Hall follows immediately. The Candidates and Reigning Miss Tabuk City 2014 Miss Apple Bartolome were warmly welcomed by Hon Vice-Mayor Darwin Estranero and Other Members of the City Council.
