Beauty Queens from various Pageant Organizations such as Bb. Pilipinas, Mutya Ng Pilipinas, Miss World Philippines and Miss Philippines Earth unite and took part in one of the biggest and grandest Fashion Charity Gala of the year, Beauties for a Cause - RUNWAY FOR HOPE 2, held last Sunday, December 8, 2013 at the Grand Ballroom of ACE Hotel and Suites, Pasig City.
Organized last year by Ms. Czarina Gatbonton ( Bb. Pilipinas World 2010) and Ms. Diane Necio (Bb. Pilipinas International 2011) it was conceived then as one-time charity event with proceeds donated to CHILD HAUZ , a half-way house for cancer-stricken children.
With the onslaught and destruction of Super Typhoon Yolanda in the Visayasm the two Bb.'s together with the people behind last year's event ( Events Director John Edward Dela Vega, Pageant Mentors Jojo Mangalino, Francis Calubaquib , Julius Ornum, Rose Ann Aguilar, Mr. Dennis Abanid and Mr. Breinard Bautista) banded together and share precious time, energy and creativity in organizing this year's charity gala as a humble contribution of Philippine Pageant to the suffering countrymen in Visayas.

Over forty professional ramp models, beauty queens and celebrities walk down the ramp wearing the fabulous collections of some of the country's top fashion designers that includes Jo Rubio, Joel Acebuche, Chico estiva, Shanon Pamaong, Michael Andrei and Oz Go of Fashion Institute of the Philippines, Sonny Boy Mindo, Julius Ornum, Dave Ocampo, Niccky Martinez, Edwin Uy, Jontie Martinez and the Philippines' Ambassador of Culture and Fashion Mama Renee Salud. Highlights of the event was the participation of reigning queens of Bb. Pilipinas 2013 Pia Wurtzbach (First Runner Up), Mutya Johanna Datul ( Ms. Supranational 2013) and Ariella Arida ( Ms. Universe 2013 - 3rd Runner Up) wearing elegant gowns by CUMBIA.

The entire proceeds from ticket sales as well as on-site cash and in kind donations of RUNWAY for HOPE YEAR 2 will be turned over to NGO's and Socio Civic Organizations that are focused on rehabilitating calamity-stricken areas in the Visayas.
